What do you think is the key to maintaining a strong brand presence over time?
Authenticity, trustworthiness, and consistency are the keys to maintaining a strong brand presence, which I have seen work best.
Authenticity: Creating a brand persona from the inside out that represents your values and the impact that you want to have on your clients.
Trustworthiness: Creating an image over the long term with both your clients and the broader market that your brand can be counted on to move its industry forward and solve complex problems that its clients are facing.
Consistency: As a brand, it’s important to be consistent with your presence in the market. It shows that the brand is alive, vibrant, and on top of what is happening in its industry.
In your opinion, what are the most important factors for success in sales?
The most important factors that make for top performers in sales combine a strong and driven mindset to succeed (will), along with a mastery of the technique needed to bring value to your clients (skill). As buyers have become more informed over time, the real value is in becoming a trusted advisor for your buyers, someone they can rely on and trust.
What excites you the most about taking on the Director of Sales and Marketing role at Busology Tech?
I am most excited about working closely with the talented group of people that make up the Busology Tech team, and about creating a sales and marketing plan that will help Busology Tech increase its presence in the marketplace.
How do you see the sales and marketing department evolving over the next few years?
I see the sales and marketing departments working closely together to educate the market in the key areas related to student transportation technologies and creating multiple ways to bring value to our clients and the market as a whole.
